Maintenance

1. Precautions for use
   The automobile four wheel alignment is a kind of precision electronic measuring instrumentation, which integrates optics, electronics, mechanics, computer and communications all into one. Maintenance is very important in the daily use of the four wheel alignment. In order to make the wheel alignment work faster and more accurately, operators are required to be familiar with functions of the wheel alignment, and properly use them. Before using the wheel alignment, please see the safety information and maintenance procedures provided by vehicle manufactures.

The following suggestions are given, to assist you in the proper machine maintenance.
A. Keep the wheel alignment in dry places, to prevent corrosion, rust, or other damage. Especially for The sensors, in particular, should be free from dust, water and sunlight.
B. Handle the wheel alignment carefully, and avoid collisions or violent vibration. Otherwise, damage can be caused to affect the measurement accuracy of the instrument.
C. Clean the surface of the instrument with clean, dry soft cloth. The surface of the red optical glass should especially be kept clean. The dust on the optical lenses will reduce the receiving sensitivity, and damage may occur if there is too much dust. So it is recommended to clean the red optical glass with camera lens tissue.
In addition, the fittings like mechanical turntable, clamp, steering wheel lock, break pedal lock, etc. should be regularly maintained. The mechanical parts should undergo lubrication when necessary.
D. Computer and printer
Steady power supply is essential for the computer. As the host is special equipment for the four wheel alignment, foreign software must not be applied to the computer. So spread of computer virus can be avoided. As for the printer, check the ink box regularly. For detailed maintenance information, please refer to the corresponding instruction book.

1. Using steady power source
   The rated power source for the four wheel alignment is 220V (China mainland), and 110V (western countries). If needed, please use a power stabilizer.

2. Charging the sensor properly
   After each use, the sensors should be placed in the cabinet, to keep charging. When the four wheel alignment is rarely used, please make the sensors recharge every few days (2 or 3 days), thus to ensure normal battery life.

3. Prevention of communication jamming
   The blue-tooth communication of the wheel alignment uses masking technique. Hence, it will not be interfered by other magnetic fields under normal conditions. However, problems like offline signals or uninterrupted signal bounces may have something to do with the following conditions.

4. There are strong magnetic filed nearby. (The blue-tooth communication is a kind of reticulate, ring form framework. In case of two parallel high-voltage cables nearby, a magnetic filed may be formed to affect the signal transmission. Additionally, the radiation of the electronic-magnetic field from the high frequency transformer and the power stations will also lead to poor signal transmission. )
